A workshop on Ayurveda & Bhakti

 This workshop of self-discovery will assist you in experiencing your full potential as a pure spiritual being full of bliss and knowledge. The workshop on Ayurveda and Bhakti provides each participant with pratical tools for identifying our true natures in the body, mind and spirit complex. This illuminating knowledge will help each participant to identify the source of negative emotions, like anger, impatience, fear and anxiety, while providing positive spiritual practices that will dissolve these negative emotions and replace them with positive spiritual emotions of love, compassion and freedom.

Lunch and dinner will be available from the Radiance Cuisine cafe within Open Secret bookstore from 12-7pm.

Short Bio on Bhagavat Swami:

In 1970, Sripad Bhakti Vedanta Bhagavat Maharaja became an initiated disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhakti Vedanta Swami Prabhupada. Under his tutelage, he learned the science of self-realization originally described in the Vedic literatures of ancient India. For several years, he was responsible for coordinating numerous meetings with political dignitaries and entertainment industry leaders to establish educational programs on Bhakti Yoga, particularly in India.

Bhagavat Maharaja holds degrees from the Florida Vedic College of Bhakti Yoga in Ayurveda (Vedic Naturopathic Healing), and Jyotish (Vedic Astrology). He is well versed in, and has lectured around the world on, the esoteric teachings of the Srimad Bhagavatam, Bhagavad-Gita, and numerous other sacred Vedic texts.

In 2008, Bhagavat Maharaja accepted the formal order of Sannyasa from His Divine Grace Bhakti Vedanta Narayana Goswami Maharaja, head of the International Pure Bhakti Yoga Society, and was conferred with the title of Swami. Following the ageless traditions of the Vedas, he has accepted a vow of detachment from material life and has fully dedicated himself to compassionately uplifting the condition of human society.

Sripad Bhagavat Maharaja is currently on a world tour under the guidance of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja. Bhagavat Maharaja is an acclaimed speaker and has been praised for his unique ability to weave the complex philosophical truths of the Vedas with simple modern examples, thus creating an easily accessible and comprehensible subject matter for listeners of all backgrounds and experiences.
