Yesterday morning, Srila Gurudeva arrived at the Govardhan temple. Two sannyasis who were there said that his eyes were closed, but he looked very peaceful. Brajanath Prabhu said last night that Srila Gurudeva is happy to be in Govardhan.
Some devotees are still hopeful for Srila Gurudeva’s recovery, especially because of the influence of Giriraja Govardhan. “While there is life, there is hope.” His condition is “stable”. However, the sense amongst most of the devotees is that Srila Gurudeva will not stay for many more days.
Tomorrow we will go to Govardhan, and it will be easier to report in more detail.
